Nkokonjeru Masters Cup
Golf was the first sport for Ashok in his life and not only remained his lifelong sporting activity but also inspired him in 2007 to launch the biggest amateur golf event in North London – attracting around 300 players participating on the same day across 4 different courses. The event was organized for and on behalf of Freemasons. It ran for 8 years and became the most talked-about golf event in the area. Over the years, the event raised almost £100,000 for the Freemasons Lodge.

Asian Music Festival
Over the years, Ashok has been passionate about getting involved, leading him to organize a variety of public and charitable events.
In 1997, he organized the first-ever open-air Asian Music Festival with international stars on the grounds of Henley Royal Regatta, aiming to create an Asian version of the Henley Royal Regatta. The event ran for 5 years, attracting over 3,500 people every year.
